Mr. Yoni Gonzalez is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience, including more than a decade dedicated specifically to Adult Day Health Services. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner, he provides specialized training on Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders to both students and staff, ensuring a strong foundation of dementia-informed care across the facilities he supports.

Throughout his career, Mr. Gonzalez has been a driving force in expanding access to adult day care and elevating its role in the continuum of care. He has collaborated with key agencies such as the Florida Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA), the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), and the Governor’s Office, where he serves as a liaison between adult day care centers and regulatory stakeholders.

Mr. Gonzalez currently sits on the Board of Directors for both the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) and the Florida Adult Day Services Association (FADSA). In these roles, he has contributed to national and local policy development and advocacy efforts, all with the goal of strengthening the adult day care model and expanding its visibility. As Chair of the Marketing Committee at NADSA and Chair of the Board of Directors at FADSA, he has led impactful initiatives that promote the value of adult day services across diverse communities.

In addition to his professional contributions, Mr. Gonzalez serves on the Hispanic IDEALL Community Advisory Board for the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting outreach efforts focused on underserved populations. He holds a degree in Healthcare Services Administration with a minor in Information Technology, and remains deeply committed to creating safe, compassionate spaces for elderly individuals, veterans, and adults with disabilities to thrive.
